Individual
Therapy

In individual sessions I honor where my clients are coming from.  Many people go through life not ever feeling truly understood, and I want to try and understand where you are coming from.  I want to understand who you really are.

2.

Couples
Therapy

Being a part of a couple can be such a beautiful experience.  And there are also times in which being part of a couple can be very frustrating and unclear.  I enjoy working with couples who want to try and figure out which ways they are misunderstanding each other, and ways they are each misunderstanding themselves.

3.

Transpersonal
Therapy

With my transpersonal approach, I acknowledge all spiritual and religious traditions; including atheism. As human beings, we all create meaning in different ways. Throughout life, as I have searched for my own meaning, I have found pieces of it in churches, temples, meditation centers, through art, nature, and relationships. I support whatever brings you closer to yourself, to kindness, and to personal bravery.

4.

Child
Therapy

What I enjoy most about children is their fierceness and their curiosity about how to move forward despite whatever circumstances they are growing through.  I have the sense that all children really want outside of survival necessities, is someone who will genuinely listen to them and someone who genuinely cares about them.

Therapy Sessions
My Approach

It is my belief that as each of us witness our pain, we become more able to release it.  Witnessing our own pain can be very difficult if we do not have ways to manage it. In any type of session, I hope to bring healthy coping skills to light. This may involve different breathing techniques, somatic experiences and attunement, different forms of art therapy, dream work, or meditative exercises.

About me

Life can be very confusing sometimes. My understanding is that each of us are different and there is no easy answer for most of life's questions. And, I am happy to be engaged in the mystery of life with you. Using my humanistic and transpersonal approach, my goal with my clients is to discover how life's meaning is created for them and what coping skills can be used to help through this process.
